Why Teams Choose Our Hi-Vis Workwear

With hi-vis, compliance comes first and everything else follows. The fabric has to hold its
fluorescence, the reflective tape has to stay put through washing, and branding has to be applied without breaking the garment’s certification. We pick certified hi-vis that meets the standards and gets branded the right way – because a logo placed wrong can invalidate the very thing you’re buying it for.

Understanding Hi-Vis Classes – EN ISO 20471

High-visibility clothing in the UK is certified to EN ISO 20471, which sets three classes based on how much fluorescent and reflective material a garment carries. Class 1 is the lowest coverage (often used in lower-risk areas), Class 2 covers vests and polos for general site and roadside work, and Class 3 offers the highest visibility – typically jackets and trousers for high-speed roads and low-light conditions. We’ll help you match the class to your risk assessment and site requirements. Full size runs across the range.

Frequently asked questions

What’s the minimum order for custom hi-vis?
There’s no minimum – order as few as you need. Larger orders bring the unit price down. Drop us a line for a quote on your numbers.
What do the hi-vis classes mean?
EN ISO 20471 defines Class 1, 2 and 3 by the amount of fluorescent and reflective material. Class 3 is the most visible (jackets and trousers for high-speed roads), Class 2 covers most general site and roadside work, and Class 1 is for lower-risk areas. Match the class to your risk assessment.
Will adding a logo affect hi-vis compliance?
It can if it’s placed wrong – branding mustn’t reduce the minimum required visible area. We apply logos in line with EN ISO 20471 so the garment stays compliant. Send your artwork and we’ll advise on placement.
How long does branded hi-vis take?
Usually 7-10 working days from artwork sign-off, depending on our workload. If you’re on a deadline, let us know early and we’ll do our best.
Do you offer size runs for teams?
Yes – every hi-vis style comes in size-inclusive runs, and mixed sizes within one order are fine.
